Niko shivered, tugging at his shirt so that his arm- slightly bent at the elbow- could fit inside his sleeve and include his hand. Maybe that'd help him preserve some body heat.
Unfortunately the black dress shirt he'd decided to wear today wasn't very thick. Sure, he had a sleeveless undershirt, but even that wasn't really making that big of a contribution to his cause. The warmest part of him just so happened to be his feet, since the black dress pants were nearly as thin as the shirt was. His feet had socks- mm, he loved those socks at the moment. Which was insanely weird for him. He also wasn't complaining about his shiny black shoes, either. Why he hadn't brought a jacket, well, that was one even he, himself, couldn't answer for you.
Normally Niko didn't wear a formal jacket, but on occasion. . .This would have been the perfect one, he'd decided hotly. Around his neck hung a light blue tie, which so happened to be basically the only piece of cloth on him that wasn't black, other then the undershirt which happened to be white. Well, all he needed now was to dye his hair completely- opposed to having the red- like all those other kids, and he'd surely make an impression, right? For now his hair remained it's red and black color. Messy as it was, he preferred his black and red hair to any other color, any day, just as he preferred his light brown eyes to any other shade or hue.
Niko raised a clenched fist to his lips to stifle a sudden cough. The forest was cold, and it was nice. A nice place to hide away, though he was still on the path. Ah well, he was enjoying his walk- until a bird caught his attention. Hm? His eyes lifted to gaze the leaves as though the bird would be easy to spot- it wasn't. His hand fell back down absently. There was truly no sensible reason for him to be out here at all as the evening died away to the night, for anyone who was curious, but hey! It was beautiful! Yeah. Beautiful. As if that were worth it. It was absolutely stunning to watch the sun fade away, to be quite specific.
Niko sighed- his efforts with his unwavering shirt would remain fruitless- as it turned out, the cold would get to him no matter what. Not cold, but not. . .warm. More like shaded coolness. Niko stopped fighting the inanimate object to ensure that a rip did not form on any part of the shirt, and instead sat back against the tree he was nearest to. His eyes held a sense of wonder that was purely honest while staring up at the melting sky from a gap within the leaves.

Cyrus was out this night, he in fact was avoiding people and listen to his headphones, his music was cranked all the way up and he was relaxing in a tree that was on the path. It was kinda cool thanks to the trees and all the extra shade but Cy wasn't bothered by it. He ignored it actually and all he had on was his ripped jeans and tight short sleeved shirt on that had Pac-Man chasing his ghost on it.
The orange and black haired teenager yawned for a moment lowered his headphones as he noticed it was getting dark. Well, he didn't intend to stay out this late but oh well. To late now, he supposed he could make it back to the school. Sliding off the branch he landed in a crouch with a thud. Standing he brushed a few leaves out of his shaggy hair but stopped half way when he noticed he landed right behind a boy that was dressed rather nice and had red and black hair.
He was startled for a moment and decided to maybe, talk. "Hey." He said and reached out, poking the boy in the middle of the back. "What are you doing out here?"

Niko's eyes widened suddenly, his eyes diverting to the tree line. Okay, so where was the coyote? The wolf? Niko's body tensed notably as he watched carefully. He wasn't sure what he'd do if the presumed animal appeared, but hey, at least he was alert.
Alert enough to feel the poke with great alarm. Ah-oh. He moved forward immediately, which caused him to tumble forward. This obviously didn't help. So, he closed his eyes tightly hoping that the animal wouldn't eat him- hey? Niko opened one of his eyes, tilting his head slightly so he could look up at the stranger. Oh. Mr. Pacman- well, he'd take his chances with the hungry orb opposed to a wild animal any day. Niko didn't like the shirt, though.
"You'd make a good actor in a horror movie. . ."Niko muttered, his voice slightly angry but not enough to really sound threatening. It was more of a 'I really don't care that much but want to sound mad' sort of voice. In general, his voice was soft in tone so even angry didn't sound loud or harsh. As for the question, he wasn't sure how to answer it. So he bought himself some time by sitting up, this time facing the stranger as he ruffled the back of his hair to clear away any dirt- he hadn't been laying on his back. . .just don't tell /him/ that.
"Walking." Short. Sweet. Typical of Niko. "You?"

Cyrus blinked for a moment, he really didn't think he would of startled the boy but apparently he did and he couldn't help but chuckle. Maybe Leon was right and he should scare someone more often it was kinda fun.
Well, until the person mentioned him being in a horror movie, he tilted his head then and frowned as he sighed and put his hands on his hips. "I hear that a lot..." Although usually he was told he would make the perfect victim! He wondered if the boy was alright or not but he decided not to ask, the boy seemed rather annoyed with him already.
Clacking his barbell against his teeth, he spoke, "Hanging around." He said in the same short and sweet manner. "Mm, sorry about scaring you, didn't mean too."

The chuckle inevitably left a light pink tint on his cheeks. Was he that funny? What was funny? He decided to level the field a bit by getting to his feet. He didn't bother to dust away the dirt this time. His clothes weren't a direct part of him, therefore not as important, right? Not that he'd go without them. . . He blinked his eyes. The natural action, when forced, cleared his mind so that he was focused on the boy in front of him in time to see him move. Niko grinned at the sight of the boy putting his hands on his hips. Nice, that was threatening, definitely. " You hear it a lot? You should have a Grammy by now."Niko's voice was calm now- now that'd he'd grinned, that was. It was hard to go back to being mad, and he didn't want to. " Don't worry about it. I'm Nikolai."Niko introduced. Perhaps unnecessarily, but he felt he should. So that they could move past him being scared at least. It seemed vital. As for him playing with his barbell, he didn't notice, but they did have that in common. Niko had one too, except his was a rainbow scorpion. Actually, he had a lot of them. A black one, a silver one, the rainbow one. . .Scorpions were his favorite without a doubt.

Cyrus chuckled lightly, "Maybe I should, but I don't think I want an award for being in a horror film, I don't care for horror to much." He pointed out and watched the boy get up, he shook his head then and wondered what was going on in the kids head.
"Right, Oh, I'm Cyrus, nice to meet you." He said and then nodded to Nikolai, "Like the hair, looks nice on you...but whats with the fancy clothing?" He asked, making a motion to the now dirty clothing that made him smirk again.
"Trying to look good for the trees?" He offered.

{Bah. Grammy=music, like the new group for the hare krishna song. Emmy= Hugh Laurie got one (TV award) and Golden Globes are movies. I dunno why I said grammy *hides*}
"Me either."Niko shrugged. Horror was kinda. . .not his thing. He was watching 'Child's Play' when he was younger, and he really never got over it. However, he was a Halloween baby which meant years spent going to haunted houses in celebration of his birthday. Maybe not quite as scary as horror films, but still. . .
"Nice to meet you,"Agreed Niko. As for the idea of him wearing nice clothes, well. . .
"First day. Mother's insistence."Answered Nikolai casually."Don't like Pacman, anyway." Nikolai could have disobeyed his mother. He had dyed his hair, he'd admitted he was gay. . .The last thing he was worried about was wearing the wrong clothes. It was about the other people, about making an impression.

"Good to know we agree on something."
He paused then and looked down at his Pacman shirt and quirked a brow, then he shrugged, "Ah well, each to his own. I thought it was rather interesting shirt but oh well." He stated and put his headphones back on, but leaving one side off so he could hear Nikolai and the music at the same time.
"Well, I suppose your mother has..."nice" taste but the tie doesn't suit you, I have to say that at least." He thought about this for a moment, "But black does look good on you, and that's all I can say at the moment." He smiled, he didn't mean to be rude or mean but he thought it was fair to throw that out seeing as Nikolai hated his shirt.
He put his hands behind his head and leaned back against the tree he was once in, then his pink eyes stared at the boy in front of him. "Mm, bit chilly isn't?"
Cyrus wasn't sure what to say to the boy, but he felt like talking.

"It's not that bad. . .I just thought a coyote or something was going to eat me. . .so Pacman's a little daunting. Less so, but daunting."Niko offered passively with a smile. Pacman really wasn't that bad, not that Niko played video games. At least he ate fruit! That was good, right? Subliminal message. Definitely admirable.
Niko wasn't going to bother to say 'she didn't pick it', but she hadn't. It was enough to hear the boy say he looked good in black. Though he felt as though he was going to blush again, he didn't. Having a cute boy compliment him, well. . .He spoke to interrupt his thoughts.
"Thanks."he agreed, not sure what more to say on that subject. Dare he back track and give the boy a compliment, just to keep things fair? Niko opted not to, telling himself he'd have to remember to say something nice later when the reasoning was less transparent.
The tie, in itself, was only chosen because of it's blue color. He liked blue. . . Still, if Cyrus didn't like it, he had no reason to wear it. It was a bit tight, anyway.
"Well, if you insist,"Niko chuckled as though he were being coerced into it. He tugged at the tie, loosening it considerably before pulling it off his head. If he had untied it, he'd have to tie it again so this way was much easier. Once the tie was in his hands and not around his neck, he dropped it to the ground and crossed his arms over his chest. When Cyrus mentioned it was chilly, Niko chuckled.
"A bit. I don't prefer the heat, though."Niko stated. The hot day had been like torture, and summers were worse, so he wasn't complaining about the cool weather now.

"No problem." He offered with a half shrug as he rolled his tongued around again tapping the yellow barbell that read: 'FU' against his upper lip more so to keep him from doing anything stupid because heaven knew Cyrus Makoa could do stupid stuff really quickly such as act like a seven year old. But he felt a little stuffy around Nik, maybe it was the serious and calm voice of the boy or maybe Cyrus just didnt know what to really do.
Either way, his thoughts where interrupted as he noticed the boy taking off the tie. He couldn't help it he laughed and moved up the the shorter male and shook his head, ruffling his hair jsut because it looked like it needed a ruffle. "There, now you look so much better and I have complete it with a quick ruffle to make you look more like a rebel." He mused on this, finding it slightly funny.
"The heat is a bitch isn't? But so is the chills, then again I'm not satisfied easily." He mused on this and wondered if he made a pun or if he could. Oh the fun in that.
