Appearance: Depressed is the one word to describe her appearance. Her physical features are almost permanently set in a frown, her eyes speak of her sadness, though no one can place there finger on what caused it. Haylee stopped caring profusely on her looks, so her hair is getting longer, with a few split ends, and if she gets a zit she doesn't care to try and cover it up. Haylee doesn't try and change her looks, for once she was loved for who she was, and maybe she would be loved again for who she is. She had gotten many comments on how her eyes were like crystals sparkling in the night. She had people tell her her hair was smooth and lovely, but none of it matter to her much.
Besides her face, Haylee is also fairly attractive, she has long arms and legs with a torso to fit. Her neck is a little awkward from her always looking down. Her clothes vary on what feels comfortable, though mostly they are baggy and hide a lot of her skin. Only at night when no one can see her does she wear something that shows a lot of skin. In baggy clothes she feels more hidden, and has the tiniest bit more of self esteem. When her body and heart are hidden she feels safer.
Personality: Haylee used to be happy but now she is depressive. She hides behind everything she can because she is afraid of getting hurt and hurting someone else. If you ask her about her past she won't tell you, not because she doesn't want too but because she blocked it all out. She refuses to remember the parts of her life that were the most painful to her, she wants to believe that things aren't really as bad as she has made them seem.
Besides being depressive, Haylee used to be a bit sporty, she loved three sports but quit them when she began loosing the energy to perform them. When she is very depressed Haylee will hardly have any energy at all, and tend to not even leave her room. Though being heavily depressive she does have her good days. When they do occur, you might get a smile, and a laugh, but Haylee will be outside doing something more productive with her life.
Haylee doesn't do clubs, or teams, she prefers to do things alone. She likes to be alone when she is down. She is also very shy because of the fear of hurting others like she had hurt Lark. She hardly partakes in group activities, and does all her work quietly and swiftly. Really she is just afraid to live life like it won't bite back. [/font]

History: Haylee was born into a simple family. She was a very happy child, smiling all the time, playing with the other children on the street. Hay played with everyone and hated no one. When she was 9 she met someone, someone who impacted her life like no other. His name was Lark. Even being so young they were an item for three years. They did everything together, they were inseparable. Haylee treasured Lark like nothing else in the world. Then he disappeared from her life. She had done the one thing she could think of to not loose him when a "friend" told her she was going too. She broke up with him, it broke them both.
The years to come were hard on everyone, but Haylee the most. She stopped talking, she stopped smiling. Haylee stopped leaving the house, she refused to go to school in fear of getting picked on, and because some people were evil. Haylee had lost the one person that was most important to her because of her own mistake, she wasn't going to make anymore. Her parents became scared of her future and for her life. Haylee would spend countless hours alone in her room, the door blocked off so no one else could get in. They began to fear the worst.
When she got a bit older, Lark appeared again, but he wouldn't speak to her. Haylee felt betrayed, she had torn both of their lives apart, and now her life was falling apart more so than before. Her parents tried therapy for her depression, but it wasn't working. They decided then that it would be best to send her away. They wanted to send Haylee away after she attempted her own life. They wanted their daughter to be the sunshine she was when she was younger.
Roleplaying Sample: Haylee was sitting under a tree, her sketch pad next to her, but Hay wasn't drawing at the moment, no she was in her usual position, curled up with her head on her knees. It was a sorta comfortable position, there was better. But this position was protective, it protected her shattered heart.
There was a certain saying, that one could love more than once, she thought good luck to that. How can one love more than once when they let there soul mate slip away. Thats what Haylee thought, she knew she had made a mistake, and now she didn't believe she could ever be loved again. She was too ugly, too insensitive, too unlovable. Yes that was the word she was looking for, unlovable. Who could love someone like her.
If you asked Haylee to describe herself she wouldn't say a thing, Haylee has never been able to describe herself since that horrible day. Squeezing her eyes shut and digging her fingernails into her arms she tries to clear her head by using pain. Pain always distracted her, physical pain anyways, emotional pain she had had enough of to last her a lifetime. Opening her eyes again she looked at her arms to see the little crescent moon shaped droplets of blood. Great she made herself bleed again. Blinking away tear she picked up her sketch pad.
Things were supposed to get better right? A horrible break up wasn't supposed to last an eternity right? Then why did her life seem meaningless? Haylee was afraid, afraid of her own thoughts, she shut herself down, distracted herself, she couldn't be herself, it hurt to much. Now she was away from her support, her mother and sisters. What in the world was she supposed to do without them by her side? Shaking her head she unconsciously scribbled a anime figure onto the pad, she had to stop thinking or she was going to cry again. Picking up her Ipod she put in her ear buds and turned on the music to drown out her thoughts, to save her from herself.
