Why they are in La Campana: There is only Gupta to thank for Sadiq's arrival. Really, what had Gupta expected after leaving a note detailing precisely where he was going, and who he was planning to meet up with? After only one brief conversation, Sadiq was hired as a Librarian, and on his way to Spain. He always has loved reunions~

Turn Ons:
-Reliant: To put simply, Sadiq needs to be needed. He likes those who rely on him--who need to be helped.
-Challenge: Life to Sadiq seems to be one big game--and victory is empty without a challenge to precede it. The thrill of the chase~
-Black or brown hair: A personal preference; unnatural hair colors are an instant turn-off for Sadiq, and blonde and red hair simply doesn't appeal to him.
-Intruiging/Unique: Yes, you must almost certainly stand out to even begin to catch Sadiq's attention for a long period of time. Individualistic personalities, especially, excite him
-Rough Sex: ...this one needs no explanation
-Well-defined bodies: Occasionally, Sadiq can enjoy straying out and sleeping with someone frail and weak (the corruption factor, perhaps, of feeling as though he is ruining something so small and innocent)--however, Sadiq likes his men to very clearly be men, and his women to be able to hold themselves well.[/ul]

No explanations for these ones...I had them written out, but my internet decided to die while I was sending them. And I'm not re-writing~

Appearance:
Age, to Sadiq, is quite like a fine wine--that is, that appearance can only be ennunciated by time. While this might not be universally true, it certainly is for the Turkish man. His age gives him a refined, rougeish sort of look. Then again, Sadiq has always been a handsom man--don't bother questioning this, because he won't believe you.
Standing at six feet, five inches, and with considerable muscle mass, Sadiq is a sight to behold. He has the dark skin and hair typical of Turkis ancestery, and olive-brown eyes.
One very important fact about Sadiq's appearance is that he almost always wears a white half-mask over his eyes, along with a red fez. In fact, Sadiq's manner of dress consists almost entirely of the same types of clothing in different renditions. He prefers wearing traditionl Turkish clothing, though he is, also, very well accustomed with modern trends and fashions and dresses accordingly.
A slightly relevant fact-- Sadiq constantly smells of Myrrh.
Personality:
Above all things, Sadiq is a powerfully stubborn, lively character who knows what he wants and how he wants it. Compared to the other members of his family, he has an eccentric, loud, and excitable personality...along with a quick temper and very little patience - all characteristics that have long remained with him since his childhood days.
Where many would chose to stay silent in a situation, or simply sweep things under the rug, Sadiq is open and more than willing to share his personal opinion--regardless of how brash it may be. He's intensely competitive, especially with his younger 'brother', Herakles. While he is, for the most part, good natured to most others, the fellow Mediterranean brings out the worst in him.
Being the type of person with impecable Turkish roots, he has a strong sense of pride in terms of his person, his nation and his culture; displaying this pride by still partaking in some of the older (and more dangerous) ways of the country.
With that said, let's touch on Sadiq's self-perception of himself. Suffice to say, he's very well aware that he's awesome. His confidence is untouchable--all of the demons from his past have long been dealt with. You can point out any possible flaws that you find in him, and he'll just scoff; scoff, and ask where your issues with yourself stem from. He knows damn well who he is--what he wants. The only person, again, who's been known to make Sadiq falter from this pedestal he perches upon, is Herakles.
However, beneath his tough visage beats the heart of a truly passionate older man: friendly, merry and with a pechance for the strange and peculiar. Often described as obscure in both personality and taste, there's never a dull moment with Sadiq. He'll keep you guessing, and keep the party going until he passes out.
Cigarettes and sweets are his weakness--offer him either, and you'll instantly have his attention.

Herakles Karpossi, 27
Gupta Hassan, 33
Other important relatives: Elizabeta, distant cousin, age unknown
Hun, grandfather, deceased
Pets: None
History:
Sadiq, surprisingly, has rather humble origins.
After his birth, the task of raising him fell into the hands of his grandfater--Hun. Sadiq never knew his parents; he would later learn that they had been killed by the Chinese Mafia. Yet he had no complaints, Hun was a powerful, influential man, and a great instructor to boot. Sadiq quickly learned how to thrive beneth the man's watchful gaze--how to produce his own food, how to fight, how to stratagize. All of the skills he would need to be the heir Hun desired.
Sadiq is also one of the few to have actually been old enough to remember the "Grandpa Rome" that so many of his extended family speak of with reverance. A powerful man indeed...for a while. Yet Sadiq watched as the man fell from power and control--partially at the hands of his own grandfather. The fighting and the stress led to his Grandfather's death--but from his ashes, Sadiq rose to gain control. With Rome all but out of the way, Sadiq's expertise and power went unquestioned. He took over where the both of them had left off, and became one of the most influential business and political leaders of his own time. Ottoman industries thrived, and few dared to question Sadiq's reign.
It is also important to note, however, that it was during this time that Sadiq also took an interest in the extended family Hun had, for the most part, kept him away from. At the age of 14, he met the then four year old Herakles and his mother, Athena. How they were related however, was and still is a mystery to him--all that is important is that he took an instant liking to Herakles. With Athena busy talking to her other relatives, Sadiq offered to watch over Herakles. The child intruiged him. All other children that age he knew were either obnoxiously loud and full of energy, or absurdly shy and reticent. Herakles was neither--he was silent, but not shy...athletic, but not hyper. As he spoke to the child, going on about his empire and his homeland, Herakles listened in abject silence. Until, after a long pause in which Sadiq had run out of things to say (talking to someone unresponsive, after all, can only last so long), Herakles spoke up. And for the first time in his life, Sadiq could honestly say that he was shocked. At four years old, the child not only spoke of philosophy, but also managed to intelligently and correctly insult Sadiq. He reprimanded the child for his rude words...but from that moment, his fascination with the boy was piqued.
As his empire continually grew, as did his confidence and self-assurance. So, when he reached the age of 19, Sadiq set the plan in motion that he had been brewing for years. Sparse visits could no longer satiate the need Sadiq had to be with his newly appointed "younger brother". And so, Sadiq seduced the boy's mother. Casually, at first--he was slow and decisive with his moves. He threw his money and power around before the single mother--a luxury for a woman's who's wealth had quickly begun to diminish in recent years. And as if he were putting his needs first, he bean to offer to take Herakles in for longer periods of times. Days turned to weeks...weeks turned to months. Athena fell into his ploy with ease. A handsome, young, and rich man was showing undivided interest in her and her son--even today, Sadiq can blame her for being so blind; for not realizing that it was only her son that Sadiq wanted.
And, one might ask, how might Herakles have felt about this? According to Sadiq, the kid should've been damn happy. Sadiq gave him all the exquisite things in the world. Fine clothing, foods, toys...yet Herakles so frequently seemed as though he felt a prisoner within those castle walls. Sadiq still assumes that Herakles was happy under his car...perhaps just missing his mother. At least, that's what he believes. One could argue that it was perhaps just Sadiq's enjoyment of being needed, and being in charge of another, that made him assume that Herakles reciprocated the feeling.
Years passed by like this. Eventually, Sadiq also took in another relative--Gupta Hassan. An Egyptian boy who's mother had comitted suicide, and who had nowhere else to go. Sadiq proclaimed this second child (thought perhaps child is not the right term. Gupta is only four years Sadiq's younger). For a long time, this lifestyle continued. Sadiq worked constantly, but thrived on the interactions between his two brothers. Though not necessarily pleasant all of time (or most of the time, really), they were his support system.
Sadiq was 26 when his empire dwindled. He fell quickly from power--incapable of keeping up with so many changes at once. Until, once again, he was forced to humble himself. He started a new business, and his expertise left him with enough to sustain himself...but bitterness quickly crept in. That's when the fighting between the brothers truly started. Herakles eventually left altogether and simply went back to his mother. Sadiq broke all his ties with the Karpossi family, and Gupta became the sole inheritor of Sadiq's discontent.
A few years passed, and thought the problems hadn't ended, Sadiq's perpetually bad moods had. Sadiq fell back into the swing of life, and resumed being the lively, free-spirited guy he always had been. News eventually came that Herakles had gone missing, apparently off on some journey of self-discovery. Sadiq not-so-secretly hoped that Herakles had been mauled to death by a bear up in some remote wilderness somewhere.
One day, upon returning home, Gupta was missing. In his place, only one note had been left...detailing exactly where Gupta had gone, and why he was going. And Sadiq... with a malicious smile, quickly called the school.
His brothers had so easily assumed that they could be free of him...how wrong they were.
