With a sighing curse Axel swung open the door to his new home. It was a basic room with carpet and four places to sleep. Maybe the gods of luck would take pity on him and give him some roommates that were easy on the eyes. At least it would cause an upward swing in his mood.
A twitch from his pocket drew his attention back to his traveling companion and he swiftly unzipped the pocket that had served as her carrier on the flight. Splinter poked her nose out cautiously before turning her wide eyes to him. He collected her in his hand and released her on his shoulder. Axel did not know why, but she loved to crawl under his red mane, nuzzling and making the tresses even more unruly before cuddling against the nape of his neck. An affectionate nip told him that she was satisfied for now but he needed to feed her soon.
He kicked his luggage and travel bag under the nearest bed. Why bother unpacking now? He had no intention of changing so they might as well send him back to New York.
Axel leaned back against the wall by the door, careful not to harm Splinter. He was bored, and he did not mix well with boredom. His roommates—if he had any—were not there at the moment, probably in a class somewhere, and that meant he would have to grasp for a way to entertain himself. He pitied the next person who entered the dorm, or anyone he would dorm with for that matter.
The thought brought a smirk to his lips. If he was really lucky, maybe he could find someone to finish what that blonde angel back home started.

From the room on the opposite side of Axel's came out a white and brown feline with black stripes and a bushy tail. The feline stretched out and pawed at the floor with its claw-less feet. Its small mouth opened, baring sharp teeth and then the feline snapped its mouth shut as amber eyes locked onto Axel. The cat said nothing but the look on the cats face clearly stated that Axel could screw off unless he had a treat to give the cat.
Soon after that, a shirtless teenager stepped out of the room, dressed only in a pair of tight jeans that where ripped at the knee and had a spray painted lime green star on the right leg and about his waist was a chain belt. He yawned, apparently, having slept through his classes. Idly he ran a hand through his hair.
It was about that time he noticed another person in the room. Opening his pink eyes, they locked onto Axel almost instantly. "Oh," Cyrus said, caught off guard at the sight of his new roommate. "Um, hi..." He said slowly, as he stared at the boy and this caused Cyrus to try and fix his bedhead, though failing seeing as his hair was always messy. So he just ended up checking to make sure his earrings where still in place and knock the white and blue feather earring to the side, it had been attached to the side of his face from sleep.
"Im going to go on a limb and say your my roommate." He chuckled. The punk teenager lowered his hands, putting them in his pockets then.
