There was no mumble or underhanded comment but the dramatic sigh gave him the signal of a victory. Her side had been weak in the first place so it was definitely intelligent to back down, though he very much imagined she felt justified. That was the odd difference between the average teenager and the ones at Wammy’s. It was dreadfully interesting, to consider what differences in DNA or environment had caused the contrast. Most of the kids at the orphanage were audience a plague of horrors, from abuse (of all and every sort), to murders, depression, violence and even war in several cases. It was confidential information but half he’d divulged straight from their mouths and the other half had been easily stolen through the proper hacking.
That wasn’t to say this girl or any of the other students hadn’t witnessed horrible things themselves. Most likely hereditary had determined who each individual would be far before they’d been born. It was almost amazing how much was predetermined. Too bad they couldn’t test the theory, clone and watch- no, that wouldn’t be moral or within reach but it was a fascinating concept. Now. Back to work.
Eyes dropped to where his finicky toes wiggled in outrage at the lack of sugar. That’s right, he was hungry. And there, peeking out of the drawer… The male rose casually and padded over, tugging a bag of rainbow licorice from the professor’s desk. Then returned and proceed to rummage through it, sucking on the edge of a green one. His favorite color. Not his favorite flavor. Mint, ack.

She just sat there, now she kind of almost felt like crying now just because she was being told off and whatnot for no reason. She didn't even do anything like she originally wanted to, he better feel happy and accomplished for what he's now done to her. Jade lifted her head slightly and ran her fingers through her long black hair and she growled at herself for looking stupid like this, she never liked to show her depressed side, her weaker side. It was very pathetic to her and tried to hold back at all costs because if she started crying or something then she guessed he would never live it down. So she just lowered her head and hid herself once more so that way if anything started it wouldn't be seen. But she noticed while she had her head up that the boy had grabbed some candy out of the desk, so he liked the sweet stuff, so did she every now and again but if she had too much sugar sometimes she would bounce off the walls something terrible. But right now she wasn't in the mood for anything like that, she just wanted to be left alone.
