Every site obviously needs rules, and this one is no exception. Be sure to read all of these, as they are certain to make your experience here easier and more fun. Most of these are about common sense and courtesy, but there's no harm in a gentle reminder!
Getting Started//Registration

-The name you register with is completely up to you. However, once a member, we ask that you make your display name your character's first, middle, and last name. That means something like 'Miku Seru Calligar' instead of 'MIKUMIKU!' or 'Hotchick19381'
-With that said, there is a one character per account rule
-You are allowed up to six characters
(however, completing this will allow you to play up to seven)
-Canon and OC characters are allowed.
-The first thing you should do is claim your character in the canon claims board!
-Sorry folks, no magic/mythic! That means if you're roleplaying Sasuke from Naruto, he has to be a normal teenager, and if you're roleplaying Edward from Twilight, he can't be a vampire. We're in the real world, here!
-This site is a roleplay primarily for anime/manga characters. Obviously other fictional characters from other genres will be allowed (for example, characters from video games, cartoons, books, etc.). However, we don't want to see Naruto roleplaying with Tom Cruise! All characters/images in signatures must be drawings (or paintings).
-Please, no perfect characters or complete basket-case characters. Everyone has flaws, and everyone has their perks. If an admin feels that your character is too far one way or the other, you may be asked to change them.
-Thread contents can not be over PG-13. IF you have a thread that is leading towards sexual actions, simply do a 'fade-to-black'. Threads can not have over-violence and heavy drug reference. We ask, please, that you do not have mature threads over PM either. If you wish to have a mature thread with someone, try doing it over aim/msn. There are the PB rules that we are trying to follow. Keeps things within PG-13 contents.
-Please keep images in your signature to 500x500 pixels. We don't want to spread the page, or force people to scroll too much!
-Please make all avatar images smaller than 150x300 pixels!
-As there was a bit of confusion with canon characters, and OC's using canon character's images, a new rule is being made. So everyone knows: all who wish to play a canon will be able to, regardless of if there is an OC using that canon's image or not. The two characters will obviously just have to be recognize that the other is very similar in appearance. I hope this seems fair to all. So, yes, there could be two people using the same claim. That, however, is the maximum of people who can use the same claim. There can't be four OC's running around who look exactly like each other!
Rules for Roleplaying
-No god-moding, as always. That means that you don't take control of someone else's character... ever.
-You may only drop two characters a month
-No in character chat-speak, unless they're texting or actually saying it out loud.
Example of bad: Den Miku lol'ed and rofled when her bffl Kurogane told her a joke
Example of good: As Kurogane told Miku a joke, she smiled and said "Ell oh ell" in response.
-People who post one-liners will be murdered in their sleep. We don't mean to say that we want quantity over quality; no, we want both. Here, each post is expected to be one paragraph minimum (that means eight or more quality sentences!). Really, that isn't asking for too much.
-Always third person and past tense. It's just so much more convenient when everyone is writing in the same way.
-We made this site to be accesible to all level of roleplayers within a certain margin. But with that said, we know that this system won't work perfectly. Of course there will be people at higher levels than others, and of course it gets frustrating for someone who writes a few pages for a roleplay to receive a paragraph in response.
So each thread that you make will need to include one of the following at the end: {Nov} {Med} or {Adv}. Those of course stand for Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced, and they will stand for the thread-starters level of roleplaying. In this way, we hope to allow people to roleplay with those within the same level as their own; to give them a comfort zone or niche. So if you see a thread labeled {Adv} and you know that you are a novice yourself, do not join it unless you've received specific permisson.
With that said, you are allowed to roleplay with people outside of your skill level, if it has been decided upon by the members involved before the board's creation.

-Be kind! I don't know how to put this differently. Be respectful and treat everyone else as you'd like to be treated. It's okay to have a debate/discussion, but no insulting or argueing. If you think Naruto is better than Bleach, and someone thinks you're wrong, you can feel free to tell them why you think your show is better. You cannot, however, tell them how stupid they are for ever thinking that what they like is better.
-The staff is here to help. Don't be nervous about anything! If you have a question, ask away! We're here to help you, and no question will ever be ignored. If you're willing to take time out of your day to roleplay and have fun with us, then we're certainly willing to take a few minutes to help you out.
-There is an activity check on the first of every month
-Have funnn! :]
