Shinsei switched between the two. Sometimes instinct drove him and other times, logic drove him. It’s true logistics had its advantages but some of logistics could not achieve what instincts could. Though the vice versa is also true. He would rather have a bit of an adrenaline, especially since it wasn’t often that he stepped out of line. But he only stepped out of line if it wouldn’t be as noticeable and wouldn’t endanger his traumatized mother from deciding that he should stay locked up forever. After all, most of his life after his father died remained inside a small box of a room, as if he was mental when he could have stood on equal grounds as his precious brother.
The little cub tensed in his arms and he could feel it. He went to check what was wrong but found that he was nipped a bit as warning from the tiger as it kicked off away from Shinsei, running away. It was a strange reaction. Normally, animals were very relaxed in his hands and even proceeded to act as if he was one of their own. After all, all the animals present at the zoo were raised by human staffs since their births. He wondered what could cause such a reaction. “It’s not common that animals react as such.” He muttered, more so to himself as he watched the tiger scamper away. He nodded in understanding. Naturally, if people were happy, they would be less likely to complain. “I guess that since you seem so open, it’s okay to admit that I am homosexual. Though, that wasn’t exactly the whole reason I was sent here. Naturally, my mother wants to appeal to all sorts of possible customers so that the business remains stable and of high credibility.”
He nodded, glad there would not be another pervert added to this academy, “That’s good to know. I don’t feel comfortable talking like such in front of others since I am supposed to maintain a polished appearance so I suppose this side is also a third side to me.” He said calmly. Even though he was gay, he didn’t like people just going up to him and acting like a pervert when he rarely knew them. Groping and drooling like they need to eat up anyone they could find, that was just too vulgar for him. It was grotesque and unrefined.
He nodded in understanding. He liked when things were spoken as they were. There were no unneeded details, it went straight to the point, and it also made conversations a bit shorter and endurable. “Well, ‘normal’ is how you choose to define it. I don’t want to be told that maybe I’ll find him or her. After all, not everyone does. However, I find people very fortunate when they do. One out of over a million people on this earth and they found the supposed ‘one’. I rather appreciate your bluntness. Not everyone’s willing to admit the truth at times and beyond that, some are afraid to say something that might hurt another’s feelings. It’s a quality I admire, Beyond-san.” He said looking straight and relaxed toward Beyond. "Besides, I've learned that business is very blunt and cold at times. This is nothing too much of a shock either since I've heard the opinion 'sometimes you won't ever find your loved one' before already. With my current state, I don't think it's possible that I lead a life any different from how it is at current at this rate. Perhaps my brother might. In any case, he has a better chance than me."
