He was sure he was going the right way, but they right way to where he wasn't overly sure. He had originally planed to go back up to his room and take a nap but that idea had been blown due to the fact he felt like looking around his new school.
Funny thing about being adventurous, you got lost rather quickly. The teenager walked up to the foundation and leaned against it, looking across the court yard. Confused and unsure which way to go anywhere he crossed his arms over his chest and rolled his barbell in his mouth as he thought about which way to go.
He knew he just came from the north east so if he went back that direction and took a left he would go east then...back that would take him back right? No wait, he needed to go right, no that wasn't it.
"Well ain't this wonderful." He shook his head and closed his pink eyes, then slid his hands into the pockets of his tight blue jeans. His style was rather simple in his opinion and lacked in taste probably as well. As stated, he wore a pair of tight blue jeans though they where ripped at the knees and in random spots on the legs. On his upper torso was nothing but a simple white wife beater. Around his wrist were assorted leather bracelets of all colors, a single chain necklace on is neck and his usual twelve earrings, six on each ear with a single one that hung at his chin.
Crossing his booted feet at the ankle he made an annoyed face and thought about which direction to turn. Maybe if he just spun around in a circle he could pick a direction, granted that just might lead him to a one way ticket to hell...like to the swimming pool.
He shuttered at that thought.

Emi hed just opened her dorm window to jump out onto the soft grass. Mikari hadn't minded, he never did. She wasn't even cold in her Hello Kitty tank-top and black/gray boxer shorts, whitch wasn't weird for her to wear at the middle of the night. Tonight, like many nights, Emi had slipped away from La Campana. Not like she was running away or anything, just getting away to walk around and think. Though Emi had done this many times, she had never been caught by a teacher, or bumped into a student. It wouldn't surprise her if there were a bunch of making out gays in batween the school and the courtyard, after all teachers did moniter the rooms, not the out doors. It seemed that they thought no one would ever sneek from their preshuse school. But like with many things they were in fact wrong.
Emi had almost reached the rim of the courtyard, with a slight spring in her step. She always loved it when she did something that the teachers thought was unfit for students to do. Sneaking out was on of them. Prof. Brown was particuly stricked abut that. Everyday he would have his loyal teacher's pets stand gaurd. Luckly Emi had bumped into one, yet. Course if one of them did find you, you could just threten them, maybe they would give up. La Canpana wasn't known for its self defence classes.
Seeing not one of the pets, Emi just walked into the courtyard. You could just get lost here, no one would care, and frankly you wouldn't ither. Sure it was only her first week here, but still you could do what ever you wanted. The teachers weren't that stricked till the second month, were they. The few times Emi was caught doing something more or less illegal it had ended with just a warning. Emi would have been sent straight back home if they actually did punish her. Emi's cousin had gone here and said that in general no teacher here was that close to the rules.
Emi turned the courner, and yes was most wonderously lost. No one, even her self, could figure out why she did like to be alone and lost. For one you could do whatever with out being caught and there was just a thrill of not knowning if you'll ever come back. It didn't seem like any of the teachers would really matter if she did get lost, like Emi cared. Turning yet another courner Emi saw a boy, perhaps a year older but defently went to this school. Emi walked up to him and said Hey

The sixteen year old reopened his pink eyes and peered into the dark night, for a moment he thought he heard something but not overly sure he heard anything at all. His pink eyes combed the darkness for a long moment, but not seeing anything or anything one right off the bat, he let out a sigh and pushed away from the foundation determined to move onwards and see where the next turn would take him.
Though around that time he heard someone call out to him. Not really expecting anyone to show up around here, Cyrus about jumped out of his skin. But seeing as that was utterly impossible to do, he did flinch from being startled and turn on his heels in the direction of the call to face whoever it was that noticed him.
From here he noticed it was a girl, not a bad looking one either but not knowing anyone and suddenly being approached made him a bit on the shy side. Bitting down on his barbell he offered her a small, yet nervous, smile.
"Erm, Hi." said Cyrus as he brought up his right hand and offered her a small two fingered wave. "Erm, nice night hm?" He chuckled.

Emi smiled, yes it wasn't her imagination but an actual person, unless she had really lost it. Yeah, you how long have you been here? It wouldn't really surprise Emi if he really had no idea how long he had been here just was wondering around, like most night walkers. The few people that she had talked to this week that were never actually knew how they got from there dorm, to the middle of the courtyard, then back to La Campana. Finally Emi had actually seen a guy that had more peircings then just his left ear to show that he was gay. It had always been weird to Emi why girls sometimes just got the left to, or at least just mainly on the left side.
The sky was now, finally, a solid black. The wind had died down a bit now, thankfully. Emi had never really liked wind that much, it always messed up her hair. All the extra blues and pinks of the sky had disapeard along with the teachers and students. Emi had always wondered if any of the students actually did stay in their dorms at night, surly some did. If Emi knew right, Mikari never left but you never could tell with how often she was gone.
Don't you think its sorta funny how hardly any of the teachers really look for students who come out during the day and night?

Good question, how long had he been out here? He wasn't sure at all to be honest, "Um, I'm going to say at least fifteen minutes...give or take a few." He slid his hands back in his pockets and stopped bitting his barbell, he was going to break his teeth if he kept that up, really, why in the seven wonders did he bite his bar?
He looked up for a moment and then around idly, like he had found something interesting which he didn't he just wanted to do something to keep from getting nervous or embarrassed over being lost.
"Damn..." He muttered to himself, feeling awkward and then jumped slightly as she spoke to him once again. He wasn't sure why he was so jumpy, he supposed it was all because he was in a new school and around new people. Maybe it would be best to keep his attention on the girl in front of him. Yes, that would be much better wouldn't it? Okay! Lock eye contact and talk...okay no eye contact that was just better cause as soon as he locked eyes he felt shy.
"Hell, I suppose you are right on that, it is a bit odd that there isn't anyone looking for us and make sure he stay put in our rooms and behave." He mused and looked back at her. "That is pretty strange when you think about it." And he did, he never noticed that, but there really wasn't anyone outside at night. Not a single soul, well minus this girl in front of him and was she counting his piercings or just looking at them?
He supposed it was abnormal to have so many.
"On another note, where am I at again?" He asked, forgetting what area he landed in.

It was hard enough to keep some track of where she was but Emi still answered Now you happen to be in the Courtyard. It seemed like everywhere had a freaking courtyard. Hell even Emi's elementary did. She could still remember going outside there with her art class to just draw anything they saw. Emi still had a notebook full of sketches Emi had done when she was a kid there of birds. Mainly just a bunch of robins but they counted. A few times Emi had drawn her friends running around the small pond filled with orange or yellow fish.
The teachers probably think we are perfect little angels and would never do anything against there rules. Course if that was true, then the teachers wouldn't be any better then having a drunk running the school. Emi didn't complain that they were like this, it was better for her after all, even if she hadn't been at this school for very long.
So... is this your first year here? It seemed like everyone that Emi had talked to, had been here for about as long as she had. Maybe kids normally left here after about a year or maybe it was till you were cured. Like anyone could be cured here at this place. The school did more harm then good if you wanted that to happen. Emi had nothing against anyone but if you were try to have these students pure if you were keeping them all in one place.

He chuckled and clacked his barbell against the roof of his mouth, "Ah, okay Courtyard got'cha." He stated and smirked at her, "Perfect little angels, I don't think anyone here can fall under that category, especially you seeing as you are walking around here at and nigh. Plus I am sure you aren't lost at all." A sly grin crossed his features for a moment as he nodded at her, "Yeah, first year, just got shipped out recently."
He thought about this for a moment, his mother was alright with the idea of her son being a bit curious but his father wasn't to kin on that idea and so he was told to back up and enjoy his new school year at La Campana. Guess they hoped to help their son figure out what he wanted to be, in the sexual tense that is...
A nervous chuckle came from his lips and he shifted his weight to the right, "My parent's weren't to please with me, but can't please everyone huh?" He stated and lifted her right scared hand out to her, "By the way, the names Cyrus. Just thought you might like to know who you are talking too."

Had Emi really forgot to tell him her name. Really, that was normally the first thing. I'm Emi. Her name was sorta fun to say. Emi Koszumi. Most people really could never say her full name, even without her middle name. It sorta sucked when you were American but born in Japan, and named a Japanese name. When you started to go to school, the teacher would just stare at the page for a while then try to say something that ended up to be Amy Koysume. At least the Amy part would be a bit more normal. But at the school everyone was from everywhere in the world so the teachers had somewhat of a clue.
This is only my week here. I'm not going to know exactly where I'm going. Emi had wished that she would turn 16 sooner, or at least before she came here. A GPS wouldn't be to bad for navigating around this school. Not so great with the whole building bit but still. Emi had gotten lost at La Camping so many times it wasn't even funny.

"Emi, nice name." He said, lowering his hand and putting it back in his pocket. "Well," He said as he moved around a bit, "So where were you headed off too before you caught sight of me?" Asked the teenager, "I know I for one was heading back to my dorm, but I don't think I will now that I have some company."
"Oh, by the way, like music?" He asked, trying to make somewhat of an interesting conversation but he wasn't too sure if he was or not. "Mm, wanna walk around? I got nothing better to do and I am sure standing around in the court yard isn't the most fun thing in the world." He offered, granted this might turn into the blind leading the blind.
But that could be fun!

Who doesn't like music? Emi said starting to walk. Where had she been going? No where particular just walking. The reason I came out here was to get away from the school. Even though Emi hadn't been here long, it was still boring. Luckily, Emi wasn't failing anything, yet. Still some how maintaining a B. Her parents would probably hope for something a bit higher but that was probably one of the reasons she got kicked out in the first place.
Trying to make some conversation out of the music thing Emi asked So ... who's your favorite band? With kids from all over the world, you never knew what exactly they were listening to. It could be Rock Opera to Reggae, you just never could tell. Emi had stuck to the American stuff that she had listened to when she lived in New Jersey. Mainly just Alternative, hardly any other genera jumping into the mix.
