Why they are in La Campana: After his mother couldn't stand him anymore, Ritsuka's mother sent him away to La Campana, where that bad influence of his, Soubi, wouldn't make him stay out late, or leave.[/size]

Appearance: Ritsuka has shoulder length deep black hair, and deep, onyx eyes that seem purple. After years of wishing he was as tall as his brother, the wish came true. At age seventeen, he stopped growing, but was able to be just as tall as his brother. He usually is seen alone, and otherwise only with a select few people. He has a tendency to not want to be seen. He seems very out of it, as he's rarely ever actually looking at something directly. He usually keeps his down, and his eyes averted.
He doesn't mind what he wears, and it never is too over or under done. His favorite color is blue, as he usually wears a blue top. He wears black pants and shoes, but doesn't mean to match. He doesn't like being noticed, so he wears very down-to-earth clothes. Because of his mother, there are a few bandages left on him, but they're slowly clearing up.
Personality: Ritsuka is very mature and serious, though he has his tendencies to be a kid. He's very shy, and rarely ever wants to talk about things like love, sex, or dating. He is a pacifist, (he dreads fighting) and often runs away if there is one. He sometimes feels guilty, as if his mother is right. Even so, he's very fearful that the one he knows now will go away if the old him ever does come back. He doesn't really like to talk, but when he does, it's like he's a thirty year old man. Even though he doesn't tell anyone anything about himself, when he's forced to, he often reacts angrily, however, there's only one person he could talk to.
With his boyfriend around, he becomes an entirely new person, one who likes to act like a kid, one who gets flustered. He often gets overwhelmed, and instead of telling Soubi to stop what he's doing, Ritsuka runs away. For some strange reason, he never tells anyone that his mother's abusive, only Soubi. Ritsuka feels that it's not Soubi he can open up to, merely the comfort that Soubi provides. He knows when it's best to give up, like when he was moving on the other side of the world. Even so he knew it was right to end the relationship, he still feels sad that it happened in the first place, and fearful that it would only happen once. [/font]

History: At the age of ten, Ritsuka under came the tragedy of his older brother's death, a murder. After being burned and killed, Seimei's body was placed in Ritsuka's seat at school. After this, Ritsuka was put into a state of amnesia, where his only memory was finding his brother, and prior memories. After this, Ritsuka's mother sent him to therapy, but, after being demented in her own way, started beating Ritsuka. Her reasoning was that he wasn't really her son, but another person in her son's body.
Two years later, he moved to another school. There, he met his first boyfriend, Soubi, who was a friend of Seimei's. They kept dating in secrecy, only at nights and some days, where he wouldn't go home.
When his mother found out, she'd beat him even more. Rarely did he ever say anything to his therapist, but he would always open up to Soubi. He wasn't dark and closed with Soubi. With him around, he could finally tell someone what was bothering him that day, and Soubi would always listen quietly. Soubi was the jealous type, so Ritsuka would always mess around with him, making him purposely jealous. The attention made Ritsuka so happy. When Ritsuka's mother was finally done with Ritsuka, she sent him away. Before he left, Ritsuka decided it was best to just stop dating altogether.
Roleplaying Sample: Ritsuka started packing, quietly, in the evening before his flight tomorrow morning. Every once in a while, he would sob, or wipe a tear form his eyes. He knew that Soubi wouldn't appear by his window that night. Ritsuka knew that he'd made it very clear that Soubi shouldn't. Or at least he hoped he did. Ritsuka knew he couldn't stand it if Soubi came to him now. What was he hoping for? In his mind, if Soubi came back, he'd give up, run into Soubi's arms and suddenly life would mean everything, and his mother would burst in, be fine with the fact that Soubi was groping Ritsuka, rip up the tickets, and declare that Ritsuka would move in with Soubi, and there would be confetti and hearts, and Ritsuka would live happily ever after.

In his mind.

Deep, deep in his mind. But he knew that if Soubi were to walk in, it'd be the exact opposite. Ritsuka would run away, and his mom would beat him for making so much noise, and Ritsuka would walk away with another bruise, maybe even a broken bone. Then, Ritsuka to go to that hell of his, the one who took him away from the person who really mattered to him.

Damn feelings.
