This was nuts, yet Kohaku somehow expected this of himself. Though the man would have been oh too content this continuing his teasing of the rather amusing child, it was not to be. The moment the boy fell against him, the science teachers mind all but went blank and let his parental impulsion's take over. 'Nabe' A soft smile tugged at the mans lips as he whispered the name. His arms wrapped around the small frame to keep the boy from falling, thinking only for a moment of what to do. He was ill that was clear, and he needed help. With only a sigh the man moved down a bit to slide an arm under the bend of the boys leg, lifting him into a bridle style hold.
Amber eyes looked over the foul speaking boy and despite it all a chuckle fell from him. Was this child as rough and dangerous as he tried to be? The answer was close to a no. He was still a child, the feeling of the small frame in his arms told him this; this was not someone who was ready to lose love. Kohaku knew about that, losing someone you love so young, it was just wrong. Now LeBara had a reputation of never lying and it still held strong. He said he would help the boyj and he would. After fixing the child up and such, he planned to help him win back this theater teacher, this man that had the boy so swooned.
For now though, it was time to fix the boy up. Balancing him in one arm against his chest the science teacher grabbed his keys and started to head out, thinking. He was suddenly glad the apartments were close to here since he did not have a car; there was no way he was putting a unconscious child on his bike, that was too dangerous for even him. No instead he wrapped the boy in his jacket and carried him back to his apartment. The man was suprised by the lack of others he ran into but that was fine with him, less run-ins, less rumors. He had plenty of those already. No, this time the man was lucky. He had no real tun-ins and once he got to his apartment (the man was glad he never locked his door) and right away went to getting the boy settled. Tonight was proving to be amusing.

✠ {OOC: Hai bby :D It's big like my dick,so I apologize. If you want, just read from the asterics down. The rest isn't all that important...}
"Mijo."
His gaze settled on the form of a short and slightly stout woman; her dark curls were fixed in a stern bun, but stubborn tendrils of auburn bounced in her face and drizzled from the ornament like vines. Her face lined and creased in both early aging and worry.
"Mijo, listen to me."
Bernabé turned to her form fully before it truly set into his sleepy mind (not that the setting was any less drowsy than before). He still failed to determine his true location--some sort of lonely, miasmic backstreet in Malaga?
He knew her well enough; Clara Arrero-Fernando grimace over her son with tear-stained, round cheeks and dark eyes. "¿Mami?"
"Mijo, how could you do this, huh? How could you do this a tu familia?"
"Mami--"
"No, Mijo. Nabe, how could you shame us, huh? Mijo, your family!"
The images of his siblings brightened a few specks in the Darkness. Their faces were twisted into something vaguely monstrous; the child felt his body attempting to draw back from his prone position on the floor, but he was horrified to feel and see the bodies lurching closer.
"No! No! ¡Mamí, por favor!"
"Mijo, you did this to yourself. We simply wished to wash the sin from your soul. Look at you!"
The Spaniard thrashed desperately, giving all the effort available to escape the steadily gaping hole in the gaseous backdrop, a view of the old dumster the child spent a good deal of his life rooting through. Living in. Just like a rat.
They sneered; his siblings sneered. Bernabé's fingertips peeled in the roughing terrain, skin flaking on the cans and rubbish in the soil that melted into reality with each passing second. Bluebell eyes flicked finally ahead to the departing Darkness, searching for anyone, anything that would be his savior...keep him from the snarling figures that were once his family. There was a tall figure there! Oh, praise Jesus!
Who was it? He...it...well, it seemed masculine somehow in the androginy that the distance supplied...and it was long at the tip...no no, that was a tophhat. And the flaring mane starkly contrasted Oblivion, bleached white...
Xerxes Break.
It was Xerxes Break, his Somberito, his Hatter, and...and he was watching! Staring...his eyes were meeting Nabe's dead on. The poor child cried out, yearning for rescue.
The elder sighed, eyes adverting as he snapped around on his heel, and stalked off. The redhead cried again, hot as he felt claws sieze his soft flesh.
"¡Ayudame!"
The acting teacher turned once more, eyes bright and smiling ever-so-sweetly. His pause was as soft as his expression as horror filled the child, victimized by sharp teeth.
"No, Bernabé." And the child felt himself scream again, a final time, before Xerxes melded into the vanishing Darkness.
***
He snapped from the matress, heart pounding against his ribcage. Nabe dripped on the matress grasping for air that was absent in the slick body; the soreness in his lungs had not set into his frantic mind yet, and he desperately needed to utilize the numbness. It was a dream; that was a blessing to the child, one that came very rarely these days. Now there was a more pressing issue to adress: where in the fuck was he?
Perhaps his mind was skipping over memories again; that often came with his illnesses...delusion. Bedrest was a luxury that he hadn't the time nor the expenses to indulge in. He looked around with the tiniest frown... No. None of the paraphernalia even remotely resembled that of...well, anyone's that he knew. Which meant he was in a strange person's room. Someone else's bed.
Was it hot in here?
The redhead kicked his sheet over to bunch starboard to the matress. He was still dripping with sweat; he whimpered at the rush of fatigue that swept him at the actions. His eyes shut...damn, damn, damn! He was perfectly useless, Bernabé was perfectly sure of it. Swallowing the weakness, he hiked a leg over the edge and heaved to the floor to stand.
Just as soon as he was up, his head seemed to fill with some form of dense matter, and he sunk again to the sheets, belly down, leaning on the sweet, soft mattress that wished for his relaxation. He glared behind his eyelids, contempt burning the skin. Lethargy made it impossible to move from the terribly prone position, and...made it hard for him to even care.
Nabe...just hoped that his host was a merciful host and would not take advantage of him. He was a sitting duck at this point.

Kohaku wasn’t sure what a student would expect from a teacher, what they would think their house to be like, but he was positive his was far from it. The young man never cared much for keeping up with things, are appearing proper. After all, not many came to his apartment anyways. In fact, his place was rather strange.
A small house, apartment, with only a few rooms really. His small living room was attached to the eat-in kitchen, which was just simple. He wasn’t one for cooking (He loved to cook, but didn’t like to make big meals for himself) so he only had a few instant meals, and well frankly the pantry held mostly insta-noodles and such. In his living room were some boxes piled up, all pushed against the back wall so not to draw attention. He only had a small bookshelf, a large fish tank (his piranha, Cuddles) and a rather large couch. Unlike most he lacked a T.V. He never watched on, didn’t even know how to use one frankly. The other small rooms were his office, bedroom and of cause the washroom. The office wasn’t much of anything, just another book-self, and a desk with many neglected papers and some files (also neglected). The washroom was simple as ever. His bedroom wasn’t anything big really. He had a large bed, which rested a child at the moment, a closet door and a small desk that held some items as well as pictures.
The pictures weren’t really anything big, just from back home. There was one of a younger Kohaku with a young girl. Long blonde, blue eyes and clad in a rather short leather skirt, tank and leather jacket. She had her arms thrown around the older and kisses his cheek, while Kohaku looked as if he was sighing; yet laughing. The other was of three young boys, around 10. Two had messy black hair, one bright red eyes and the other black. A child Kohaku stood between them, grinning at who ever was taking the picture. The last was of a tall man, waist long red hair pulled back into a tight pony, a few stray pieces in his hair, a dark cowboy hat on his head. The man was grinning widely, a cigarette in his hand as he waved to the camera. The only over picture Kohaku had, of his late wife, was hidden within the desk. The young man wasn’t sure why he kept these pictures, he just did.
As for the man, he himself had walked into the room in time to see the child’s failure to get up. A faintly amused smile grew on his lips as he walked over, pulling a small nightstand over. He set down a glass of water and a bowl of some dark broth down, a few contents flouting at the surface. The desk chair was pulled over and he sat down, placing a hand on Bernabe’s head. He knew he would get snipped at, but he cared not. ”Wake up child”. He grinned as he spoke, gently stroking the boy’s back, holding his touch would anger the boy enough to sit up. ”You are quite the fussy sleeping Nabe.”. The words came out in a hum, his hand resting on the table. Below the table sat a small dark bag, half zipped, showing the contents to be what you would see in a doctors office. The man knew Bernabe would rather punch him then let him examine him; he had done the check up while the boy was asleep. It was a bit impersonal, but it saved him from being harmed. Though he neglected to give the boy a shirt, and the child was in different clothes, a pair of loose sweats that he had from his kid.
