Rodrick had arrived at the school five days ago. He wasn't happy at all when he arrived. He was more like majorly pissed off. He felt betrayed and alone but most of all sad. He felt like his parents didn't love him at all. It really hurts to be sent to a reform school because of what gender he likes. He was so mad at them for being so stupid. He couldn't keep his emotions the same for those five days. He was sad a crying on his bed with his face stuffed right into the pillow, other days he would just wonder around the campus and well he would just sit in the window and stare out into nothing.
But today he decided to do something. But it seems he's just wondering again. He didn't want to go to his classes today. He was to mad to do something like that. He just wanted to distract himself from all this. He wondered around for hours until it was lunch time. He was leaning against a wall outside in the courtyard. He was really hungry and thirsty. He had no idea where the cafeteria is and he was just to weak to go on. Well he could but he's a bit daft.

Carrying a tray filled with food he decided to eat outside for once. It was a relatively nice day out even if it was a tad chilly. As he wondered for a bit looking for a place to sit and eat he spotted an unfamiliar face. Though seeing someone unfamiliar wasn't that big of a deal him being the wallflower that he was. But something about this new face seemed sad to him, or at least lonesome. Maybe it was the fact that the boy was by himself outside in the cold, but then again so was he. The thought of going over to the taller boy and introducing himself instantly came to his mind. But he didn't want to be forward, what if the other boy wanted to be alone? Or maybe he was just waiting for someone.
He stood there with tray in hand simply staring at the lone boy against the wall as his mind went through it's battle. Go over and introduce himself and risk being embarrassed by being told to shove off. Or ignore the fact that he even saw the boy and go find somewhere to sit and read a book in peace. The second one sounded the safest bet, but what if they guy was actually lonely? Could he simply ignore him? Sighing he stared down at his food for a moment before heading over to the taller blond boy. If he was told to go away then he would and most likely be cross about it for the rest of the day. But he couldn't simply walk away in good conscience. Besides he'd just spent minutes staring at the guy if he walked away now the guy might come after him anyway.
Once he was standing in front of the boy he looked up with one blue eye his other hidden by his eye patch. The blond was a full foot taller than he was and he suddenly felt very small. Why did I come over here again? Idiot. I'm an idiot! Now that he was standing there in front of this stranger a lump wedged itself in his throat. His mouth was dry and his mind in chaos as to what to say or do. In the end there he was blue eye focused upwards, tray in hands, silently staring. Idiot! Open your mouth! He swallowed his jaw clenched tightly before he was able to speak. "Hi. How come you're all by yourself?"

"Cruel world, how dare you let me die in the cold." He wondered for a few seconds of why he came out side with out a jacket. What was he thinking. Though it wasn't that cold but still a guy needs to be careful. No one likes a cold and he didn't want to catch one but he forgot about a jacket. He put his back to the wall with the back of his hand on his forehead, a dramatic pose. "Oh how cruel. DAMN IT, I'm so hungry, I could just die." Then he let himself slide down the wall and onto the ground. Though he was hesitating as who knows how dirty of a floor this is. "No fair someone come at once and feeeeed meeee.....-" He whined until he realized that someone was here.
Rod's face went red and he looked away feeling angry. He was angry because his girly tongue had slipped. He was mad at the kid for showing up out of no where and embarassing him. Well thats not really that embarassing but Rod thinks it is. When Rod noticed the tray of food he almost broke his calm yet sad look to actually let out a excited smile. He was glad that he could stop that. He looked down and then looked up with his eyes wide with pouty lips. He was making the puppy dog look at this kid he has never met. "Give me your food, please...." He was to hungry to be smart and cold sounding. He wanted that food and he will do anything for it.

The taller boy seemed to be talking to himself but at first Faolan was too far away to hear any of it. But at he got closer he caught the feed me whine and was a tad shocked. He looked in the direction of the cafeteria and wondered why the other boy didn't just go over and get food. Was he lazy? Hurt? As he tried to think of some reason for the boy to be whining that he was hungry the boy noticed him. Then paled instantly as the blond's face turned red. No! Why does everyone around here blush? Why is he blushing?! He almost cursed he was so flustered by the sudden appearance of red cheeks. Mostly because whenever other people blushed he tended to blush, and he hated blushing.
When the boy asked for his food he looked down at his tray then to the boy. He looked so sad, and slightly pathetic sitting there staring up at him. But he didn't simply hand over his food he gripped his tray tighter and stared down at the stranger. "Why? Why not go get your own?" That had just come out all wrong, and completely rude. "I-Uh, I didn't mean it to sound like that. I-" Those eyes were making him all flabbergasted! His feet shifted as he stared down at the boy. Why had he come over here in the first place? Now he was all worked up and anxious, and very close to blushing. He could feel it in his face a slight tinge probably already tinting his cheeks.
"T-t-the cafeteria is open so why not go there and get food? You can get whatever you want then." He pointed in the direction of the cafeteria his other hand holding tightly to his tray. Was the guy a bully? Was he going to steal his lunch? He bit the inside of his cheek nervously blue eye showing his discomfort openly.

Rod noticed the boy tighten his grip on his tray. Rod just gulped and almost drooled at the sight and smell of the food. He would pounce the boy if it wasn't so improper. Rod's heart sunk when when the boy told him to get his own. What a blow he took. The torture of being so close to food and yet not allowed to touch. He couldn't take it any longer. And now rudeness from a stranger, even when a stranger one must be polite. Though Rod wasn't polite at all. "Well if you didn't mean it, then why on earth did you say such a horrible thing." Of all things to say. Rod was insulted and mad at this boy. He just couldn't believe that someone would refuse him. Who would refuse that face.
This was annoying Rod so much. He stood up and was ready to give this boy a piece of his mind even though his mind keeps wondering off to thinking that this boy is so cute. He couldn't help but think that when he was clearly annoyed. He shook it off and calmed down. "But I don't know where that place could be." He finally got himself back to his cold masked self. His eyes widened again when the boy pointed to the cafeteria. He didn't realize how close he was to it. Well that was just annoying. He was wondering around the courtyard, wasting his energy to find a cafeteria when there was one right over there. How embarrassing but still Rod made sure not to let it effect him. He raised a brow wondering about the young boys expression. It looked liked the boy was hiding something or trying not to do something. He smirked raised his hand to the boys face only to use one finger to push the boys chin up. "What's wrong little boy."

He felt even worse for spouting out the thing about the guy getting his own food. The guy did not look at all happy with his response. "I-It came out wrong is all. I-I-I didn't mean it t-t-to be rude. I was just wondering why you weren't g-getting your food is all." That still sounded somewhat rude, but he just couldn't think of a way to word it that didn't sound that way. He bit his bottom lip dropping his gaze as the taller boy stood once more. Stupid stuttering was making him look even more like a fool and his words were just not coming out right at all. The guy was probably going to razz him for his rudeness, and maybe even hit him. He should've never walked over here in the first place.
Oh, so he hadn't known where the cafeteria was that's why. After pointing the direction he was seriously thinking about running away. The guy was much bigger than he was, and didn't sound too happy. A hand was coming toward his face and instinctively he flinched. He was so used to being hit, so used to seeing a hand coming toward him that it was only natural to flinch. A finger lifted his chin and he felt as though he was going to be sick. His heart was pounding with fear, his breathing was erratic, and he had no idea what this guy was planning. "W-w-rr-rong? N-nn-nothing's w-w-wwrong." Yes, he was an excellent liar and would be awarded a gold medal in it.
Hands trembling he was not at all used to such a confusing look aimed at him. Was the guy going to hit him or not? Was he still mad? "I d-d-didn't mm-mean to mm-make you mm-mad." He wanted to run away so badly but he was frozen in place. Stupid stuttering, stupid legs. Move!

Rod's left brow raised and his glasses slid a bit down his nose. What was up with this boy and did he just become a little erratic or was Rod hearing things. Rod couldn't believe the cuteness of this fear filled boy. Rod began to lose his annoyed feeling and mad feeling when it seemed that he was scaring the boy. He never meant to scare the boy. He had already removed his finger from the boys chin. He raised his hand again but just to put his hand on the boys shoulder. "Take a breather darling. I'm not going to hurt such a cute little boy." He was so cool with his words. But in his head he was running around screaming with his hands on his head. He couldn't believe he said such words. Thats something someone would probably say in a yaoi manga.
He sighed and removed his hand from the boys shoulder. Spinning around and coming straight in to put his arm around the boys shoulder. "Now I understand that this is your delicious food, but could you share a nibble." He poked the boys cheek with his free hands finger. "I have been wondering around for hours and I can't simple walk any farther with out something. Please..." He polled out that puppy eyed look again but this time his face was less than a foot away from the boys face.

As the finger moved he watched the hand like a mouse just waiting for the snake to strike. Muscles tense he was starting to flinch when the hand merely rested on his shoulder. Blinking in confusion he lifted his eye to look at the taller boy, and was shocked and relieved at the words that came next. Wait, did he just call me a cute little boy? That was the tap that flipped the switch. His cheeks instantly turned red all the way back to his ears. "I'm not cute! A-a-and I'm nn-not l-ll-little either! I'm sixteen!"
He gave the tall blond a glare and was about to storm off when an arm draped around him. So very lost as to what was going on he nearly dropped his food. People did not touch him and if they did it was to hurt him. This guy had just gone from scary to cool and confusing. Dazed by what was going on he jumped when a finger poked him in the cheek. That brought his attention right back to the tall guy beside him. At the mention of his food again he looked down at his tray then back up only to find those eyes again. And those eyes were really, really close. Eye going wide his face burned even more, and once again he almost dropped his tray. Why is he so close? W-why? Is he so close! Great now he was stuttering when he thought too.
His stomach gurgled but really he could give the guy some of his food. Holding up a fork he offered it to the guy so that he could take a bite of the spaghetti or the small salad if he wanted to. "I guess if you're that hungry." He mumbled glad that for once he wasn't stuttering. As long as the guy wasn't going to hit him there was no reason to be afraid of him, right? Right, now if only he could get his cheeks from stop burning and his hands from shaking.

Rod adjusted his glasses as he noticed the boy blushed when he flashed his puppy dog eye look again. So it did work on the boy. He knew no one could resist him for long. The boy blushed when Rod got closer and made that look. He knew he would be able to get some food. He was so glad the boy finally offered Rod some of his food. At last he was going to eat something and be able to go on even though he was fine and was just being an idiot. What a day this was, food and someone cute to flirt with.
But Rod did wonder why the boy was shaking so much. He wondered why the boy stuttered and flinched when ever he reached his hand to the boy. He took the fork that was offered and stuck the fork into the spaghetti, twirling the fork and scooping up a little bit of his spaghetti. He put the delicious looking bit of spaghetti on his fork into his mouth and chewed then swallowed. Rod smiled then looked back at the boy removing his arm as to be nice. He thought the boy was afraid of him in a way. He wanted so much to hug him and tell him that its ok. But they don't really no each other so he thought it wouldn't be right. Though his mind was telling him to just do it. He ignored that thought of course but he may not do that again. It depend on what happens. "I'm Rodrick Ebony, what's your name?"

He quietly watched the taller boy eat the food then relaxed a bit when the arm was removed. Fao had never been good with physical touch because if he received it from boys it was wrong. If he received it from girls it just felt weird, but that was wrong too. Any physical touch he got from his family was usually painful, except for his mother and little sister. But they were never that involved in his life. So now that he was out on his own he kept a distance from people by instinct. Boys were bad, and girls made his skin squirm. Both of which made his head ache. The guy didn't seem too bad now that he was going to get food.
"Name? Oh, um, Fao...Faolan Wolfe." He hated his stupid name it was so weird and ancient. Supposedly he was named after his great-grand father or something important like that. All he knew was that it was not a modern name. Trying to calm himself he picked up a leaf of lettuce and ate it while still watching the guy. "How is the spaghetti? It looked a bit dry." He picked up another leaf coated with Italian dressing and nibbled on it as he looked up at the stranger. At least he wasn't stuttering anymore and the shaking was slowly fading.
Now that the guy didn't look incredibly imposing Fao was able to get a better look at him. The main thing he noticed was that the guy was tall, very bloody tall, and of course the eyes. He'd always been focused on what people's eyes looked like. Seeing as he only had one that looked normal it made him envious to see so many people with normal eyes. A few seconds pass as he simply stood nibbling on lettuce like a rabbit staring at the slightly confusing blond.
