---------------------------------------------It feels so right now Hold me tight Tell me I'm the only one and then I might Never be the lonely one--------------------------------------------- To think that Charlie had actually worked up the courage to ask someone to go somewhere with him. It wasn't as hard as he thought. And it's not like it was a date! Was it? Just the thought of labeling it as such made him blush and feel nervous. Clearly they were just going out here as friends. But they weren't friends, were they? Neither Charlie nor Ero had been in relationships before, they both made that clear, but they said they would try, right? But Charlie still forced himself to believe that they were coming out here as friends. It was just a little day of photography after all. Really, Charlie had never cared much about taking pictures. He took a class for it earlier that year at his old school and had rather enjoyed it. But he just never knew what he was supposed to be taking pictures of. Charlie had to ask a few nice acquaintances before he heard about a good place that would be nice to take pictures at. Well, this was Barcelona. Anywhere should be beautiful for pictures. But it was this natural park that was chosen as the destination.
Charlie was sure that Ero would be busy with all that doctor stuff he had come to La Campana to do. So, rather than walk to the park with the man, he decided he'd meet him there. Charlie's sense of direction wasn't the best. In fact, he was completely afraid that he'd end up getting lost. It's not like he could go ask for directions either. There was very little of the Spanish language he knew. He could say Hola and Adios but the extent of his Spanish knowledge didn't get much farther than that. So Charlie found himself a map. He almost never used maps in his life but he picked one up for today as he walked from the school to find the park. Gosh, Charlie hated walked. But he didn't have a license. He didn't know how to ride a bike, much less own one. And he didn't have the money for a taxi. So it was by foot that he would go, dearly hoping that he would find his way before Ero showed up. Charlie worried more about the fact that Ero might not be able to find his way. He was new too, right? What if he couldn't find the park? Charlie worried too much. He was freaking out. What if Ero couldn't find the park and then Charlie was left alone all day? What if Ero became busy and couldn't go and Charlie had to sit there waiting and thinking he was going to show up? What if Ero just didn't want to go with him anymore? Charlie was clearly freaking out but he didn't turn back.
Charlie managed to find the park and tucked his map away into the bag he carried with him pretty much everywhere. He was going to get back problems from it one day but he insisted that he had to always have it. He had a better chance of being prepared for things if he had whatever was in his bag. Pencils, papers, erasers, random snacks and fruit he found and random books he had around. See? He was all set to go. He gazed around at the scenery, his purple contact eyes rather wide. Barcelona was beautiful. Rather big too. So different compared to the small Canadian town he was use to. He began humming a rather soft tune to himself as he waddled- yes, waddled, like a penguin- over to a nearby tree and plopped himself down under it. Now he'd have to wait. He'd just sit there and wait, worrying and fretting over whether Ero would show up or not. His humming stopped and he nervously bit his lip, pulling his knees up close against his chest.

Spain was so empty. Filled with people, yet so empty. At least, that is how it was in Ero's eyes. Perhaps it was due to the lack of people in his home, in his life really. Erozane was so use to living in a house overflowing with people. Being here in Spain, living alone was just so strange to him. It was unsettling to return home to a empty house. It was even worse at night. He stayed up into the early hours, falling asleep in his cold bed and waking to silence. It was something he was new to and didn't want to grow acustom to. He liked being surronded by people, it put him at ease. He was not a shy man and loved interacting with people. Of course, that wasn't to say he hadn't spoken with people while here. He had been in conversation with a few people here and there. Only a few were worth remembering.
He was the school Doctor. Of course he had to meet people, had to interact with them. He couldn't recall most students off the top of his head but had certinally greeted one or two while walking through the halls. Sadily though, there were only two faces here he could remember well. It was two male students, a pair that happened to be friends. Amusingly enough they were from Canada as well adn it made him smile at the thought. That one rather goofy and light-hearted boy, and the more silent and affectionate one. Well, not fully right. Charlie, the silent child and Mile the playful one. Charlie didn't seem to be affectonate with many people, but he most certainly was with Ero. Of course, there was a reason now. Yes, only here for barly two months and the man had fallen into something he never imagned. He was nwo in a relationship with young Charlie and he was loving it. THe boy was so sweet, so gentle. Erozane loved to hold him close and simply cuddle. He was not most of the couples he heard of around the school. He was not very flamboyant about their being together and he wasn't touching the boy in ways as others did to one another. Ero was a gentleman of all things, and of course he respected Charlie more then anything. He was a child, a innocent one. Erozane was quite innocent as well. Together, they were most certainly planning to take things carefully and slowly. Ero didn't want to scare Charlie, he never wished to do that.
He was going to the child now actully. It was a beautiful day out and he was going to spend it with Charlie, taking pictures. That was the plan at least. Erozane wanted to do more though, for Charlie that is. He had a plan, if they were out that late, to buy the child dinner. He wasn't sure what yet, or even where. Like the other male, he didn't understand Spanish and it made him rather troubled to get anywhere. Either way, he didn't mind. For now he was going to focus on spending time with young Charlie and having fun. He wouldn't have to wait long either. While lost in his thoughts, it hadn't taken the older male long to arrive to the park and find the child. Not inturrupting the child's thoughts yet, he walked over and lend against the tree. His off-colored eyes watching the boy sitting there for a moment before smiling softly. "Hello there~"

---------------------------------------------It feels so right now Hold me tight Tell me I'm the only one and then I might Never be the lonely one--------------------------------------------- Charlie had thought of pulling a book from his bag and reading as he waited. He had a couple of books in there and that would surely be the reason as to why his bag weighed so much. But it was hard to read at a time like this. He was worrying. He had things on his mind. Not to mention that Charlie much preferred reading at night or during his classes. So he just sat where he was, shutting his eyes rather slowly. Thought it was sunny out, it was only Spring. It was still a bit chilly. But the feeling of the sun almost made Charlie wish to fall asleep right there beneath it. He curled himself up in the black jacket he wore, pressing his forehead against his knees as he let out a rather soft sigh. He could hear birds. He could hear other people in the park. He could hear a lot. But isn't that how it worked when you lose one sense? It increases the other. Sure, he only had his eyes shut, but it helped. Which is why he heard footsteps on the grass coming closer to him.
He had been thinking that the person would just walk on by, but they spoke to him. Charlie smiled a bit before lifting his head, flopping over onto his back in the grass. All his worries went away. It was all okay now and his world could be happy again. "Ero... you're here..." Charlie pointed out the obvious as he pulled himself up to his feet, brushing himself off of any grass that may have stuck to him. He hopped right over to the man and, without hesitation, brought his arms around his neck to hug him. He nuzzled his face to the man's shoulder and smiled. "Did you bring the camera, Ero?" he asked, looking up and tilting his head curiously. Obviously, this whole photography day wouldn't work out if they didn't have a camera to take the pictures with. Charlie was disappointed that he couldn't have brought his own camera. He didn't own a camera. But, if he did, he would be sure to always bring it everywhere with him so that he could always be prepared when a good picture could be taken.

Charlie~ Ero didn’t care how wrong it sounded to another, but the child was so soft and warm. Erozane loved to hug the smaller frame, it was like holding a small teddy bear. Of course Charlie was better then any teddy bear. Unlike a small stuffed toy, Charlie smiled, a rather beautiful one at that. Was that what Ero loved most about the young student? It was hard to say. Even in just this bit of time they had known each other, Erozane had found so much he liked about the child. Sure, he knew other would not approve of his actions—being with a child 12 years younger—but he didn’t really care. He only cared for the small, cute boy who was in his arms, giving his soft gentle affection.
“Of course Charlie!” The man smiled and slid the strap of his black bag off his shoulder. Lifting the bag a bit, he showed it was a bit bulky, obviously holding the camera. “I brought my best one…It always works great” The man’s words were spoken softly, not needed to be loud since the child was so close. He pecks the boy’s cheek in a warm greeting as he lets the bag be set down, both arms wrapping around the smaller one’s waist. “I didn’t keep you long?” He raised a brow to his own question, his gray eyes looking at into the other’s. He hoped he didn’t keep the child waiting long; he hated to do such a thing. Of course, he was rather good at being punctual. In his profession it was both required and desired to be very exact with time.
“So love, anything you’d wish to do first? Or do you just wish to take shots?” The man’s voice held a slight nervous edge, still a bit shy with all this. The man had never done something like this before, but he knew Charlie hasn’t either. He wanted to make it wonderful thought, for him. In his mind, he wanted to do everything right for the shy child. If he did things right, then Charlie would smile, and there was no better gift then that.

---------------------------------------------It feels so right now Hold me tight Tell me I'm the only one and then I might Never be the lonely one--------------------------------------------- Even in Photography class, Charlie had never really gone out with other people to take pictures. He'd done it all on his own with his grandfather's camera that his mother gave him. But he hadn't been at his mother's house before he came to Barcelona, so he didn't exactly have the chance to get his hands on it before he came here. Plus it was an old camera. Not digital in any way with so many different lenses to attach to it. He had hardly known how to use it and now he'd have to figure out how to make Ero's camera work as well. Surely, he would teach him first. "I haven't really used cameras a lot though... just to warn you," Charlie informed him with a bit of a nervous laugh. At the kiss to his cheek, he blushed and smiled rather warmly. He couldn't remember any time before Ero that anyone would give him kisses. Whether it be on his cheek, forehead or his lips. Even his family, for the longest time, rarely gave him kisses and very rare hugs. He gave a slow shake of his head, leaning up to kiss the man's jaw. "Don't worry... I didn't wait long at all. Only a few minutes, I think." Really, he'd lost complete track of time. He could have been waiting an entire hour, but he really didn't think it had been that long.
The man's question sparked a bit of curiosity and realization in him. Charlie really hadn't thought of anything to do other than take pictures. He thought that the only reason they even came here was for the sake of pictures. "Ummm... well... I don't know..." he confessed as he took a step away from the man, dropping his gaze to the grass beneath his feet. He wasn't sure if he should quickly think up something else to do before they took pictures or just say no. It's not like Charlie knew of much to do in a park or anywhere outside the park. Barcelona was so new to him. Being in a city was quite new to him. He was so use to his little town. He nervously bit at his lip, rocking a bit on his heels. "Is there anything you really want to do? I'd love... to do anything that you wanted to do. But I can't think of anything."

Watching the boy was more amusing then the man had thought. Charlie seemed to look at the camera as if it was something amazing, his fingers touching it so delicately. Ero couldn’t help the smile that spread on his face as he placed a hand on Charlie’s shoulder, giving a friendly rub. “Don’t worry Charlie, I’ll show you” His arm slid off the child’s shoulder and around his waist, pulling the small form close. The hand stayed around the boy’s waist, the other pointing a slender finger towards the mechanism. “It’s rather easy…you only need to hold the sides, see how it’s grooved for better grip? Then,.. you use this button to zoom..er focus” His finger touched a small button on the side and he smiled as the boy. Then just touch the big button..” He pokes a large one button “And there you go, you’re taking pictures!” The man’s voice held a warm edge, his tone upbeat.
Ero always seemed to have a upbeat edge to him. It was strange to think that but even at his age, Erozane loved to goof around like a child. More often then not people didn’t react well to this from him, but the man couldn’t care less. He loved how he was and never planned to change. The fact that he had Charlie by his side now, enjoying who he was, made him even less likely to change. After all, Erozane was always the one of his siblings who gave the others comfort and confidence. When they were sad, he was the one to make them smile. Maybe that is what brought on this gentle side of him, his family. The thought of them made the older male frown. He missed them, so very much. It had been years since he had seen them, well except for his brother that is, perhaps he would visit again soon…
Charlie’s words brought Erozane back ot earth and he gave a small smile, nodding. “Alright..well, in truth I was hoping to take you out to eat after, if you wish..” His off-colored eyes watched the boy, the shade of Gray filled with a curious shimmer. “Well, we can take pictures for now…best now before it gets late and good light fades…” He speaks gently, thinking other things as the words fall. Erozane’s mind was always wandering. A small trait he could never shake off, though it had always amused others. “mh.. ah, yes.” He gave a weak smile, coming back to the situation, again. “Well then! Shall we?

---------------------------------------------It feels so right now Hold me tight Tell me I'm the only one and then I might Never be the lonely one--------------------------------------------- As an arm slipped around his waist, the boy took in a deep breath and held it. A smile was on his lips along with a pink tint to his cheeks as he listened to what Ero told him and watched. Everything he said sounded simple enough. Just like any other camera only this on, in Charlie's eyes, looked a whole lot cooler. He leaned in against the man, pressing his cheek to Ero's shoulder. "I think you should take pictures first... I'm pretty sure I can easily use it but, still... you should take pictures first," Charlie told him, tilting his head to smile up at the man. They could just think of it as an example. Just showing the boy firsthand how to use the camera. But it was just a camera. It clearly couldn't be that hard to use. Really, Charlie just had no clue what he was supposed to be taking pictures of. If Ero took some shots first, then he thought that it might give him some ideas too. Or else he'd just be taking pictures of Ero when he wasn't looking and that may or may not be such a good thing.
Inhaling quickly, Charlie's eyes widened and he stared up at the other man. He almost wasn't sure how to react to going out to eat. He started to panic on the inside about whether this was actually a date or not. In his mind, going out to eat with a person, especially someone you're in a relationship with, tended to mean a date. But it couldn't be a date. No way. It wasn't possible. But, either way, the boy blushed quite deeply. "Ero... I'd really love that. It would be quite lovely. But I don't have money," Charlie mumbled softly as he dropped his gaze. Too often did people pay for him for things. He hated it. He just couldn't stand the fact that he didn't have the money to buy things and that he could never pay people back for buying him things. It made him feel selfish. Charlie took one of Ero's hands into his own, smiling rather warmly at the warmth that it brought him to be able to hold hands with another. He lifted his gaze, smiling rather brightly up at the man and nodding a few times. "Yes, of course! But... what would be a good thing to take pictures of around here...?

The man gave a laugh, light and warm, much like his personlity. Erozane, ever the easy going one. His mother always praised him for his ways of being the best to handle. Not that anyone in his family misbehaved, oh no. They all behaved and were quite sweet; what was meant was, that he was the most accepting and flow-type. Erozane wasn't hard to make smile, but nearly impossible to cry. The man was always quick to laugh and to offer a hug to anyone. Ero tried his best to turn even the worst of things into soemthing good; Rainy days were used to sang, storms were an excuse to build a indoor fort and huddle up with the youngest to reading fairy tales. He was always helping out his mother, always trying to make the burden around the house easier. Being here was no different. Erozane came here as a doctor because he wanted to be of help to the school and be of help to the students. He was a strange man.
"Silly boy!" The man ruffles the boy's hair, laying a soft kiss upon the child's nose. "I'll pay dear...think of it as a date~" The man gave a faint wink, silently knowing neither of them had ever been on such a thing. His hand moved formt eh boy's hair to rest on Charlie's shoulder, his other arm keeping the small body near his own. It truly was a beautiful day out, perfect for their plans. His off-shaded eyes glanced around before laying on Charlie again, grinning. He lifted the camera up slightly and turned it on, playing with a few settings for a moment. "Well...I like to take shots of beautiful things...and it's a beautiful day..so really anything." He paused and winks at the young boy. "Or I can take pictures of you, the most beautiful things here..." His voice drifted off and he kept the smile up, though a faint blush appeared. Erozane knew people liked sweet words, but it still made him nervious. He really needed to get better at this. In the end a small laugh escaped him, and he gave a soft apology. "s-sorry! i'm terrible at this!"
