Maria waited next to her motorcycle for Ea. Laying on the seat was a stylish blue riding suit, folded neatly, and matching full helmet, complete with visor. She checked her watch. It was still five minutes until the time they'd agreed on. "I hope that suit fits her...", Maria murmured. The blue riding suit was one of Cornelia's spares, which Maria had brought with her as a way of having something of Cornelia's with her in her new school. The only problem was that Cornelia was at least an inch shorter than Ea. Which meant that there was a chance it wouldn't fit. Maria sighed. "It'll just have to do...", she muttered, deciding to cross that bridge when they got to it.

Ea was, as always, convinced was was running late. She had dithered over what to wear, finally settling with warmth over looks. This somehow made her feel even less comfortable, pulling at the edges of her stiff jacket as she hurried down the stairs. She had compromised a bit, wearing one of her poodle skirts over thick grey tights, but she couldn't help but feel awkward and ugly.
When she finally made it to the front of the school and saw Maria there, her heart sped up, and her face split into a huge grin. She was just so beautiful, Ea could hardly believe she was hers. But Maria was hers, and she was Maria's, and she couldn't be happier.
Then she saw the bike. Her face got very red. She had totally forgotten about the motorbike. Though Maria looked amazing in the motorcycle suit, she knew she couldn't pull off the suit that was lying across the seat. Her stomach turned, and she bit her lip.
"Uh..." Her blush worsened. "Hi, Maria!" Her hand went to the hem of her skirt, playing with the fraying hem. "I, ah, totally forgot we were going on the bike. I suppose I should get changed?" If she had to get into that suit to go skating with Maria, she would do it. Man, she would jump off a cliff to spend time with Maria. She supposed a little bit of embarrassment was worth it.

Maria checked her watch again. Five seconds left until the time they'd agreed upon. <And if I know Ea,>, Maria thought with a grin, <She'll be here riiight about now.>. Maria looked up to see Ea walking toward her. "Hello, Ea!", Maria warmly sang, smiling. She looked over her girlfriend's choice of clothes and blushed. Was it just her, or did Ea seem to be able to make any outfit super cute? Oh! But Ea was talking to her! "Well, I suppose you could try to get it on over your clothes... But that motorcycle suit might not fit, so we may have to make a quick trip to the mall to get one for you... That one there is actually Cornelia's... I have a spare for myself, but I'm afraid mine would be far too big...", Maria said, looking at the ground in embarassment.

Maria's blush was honestly the most beautiful thing Ea had ever seen. It made her heart speed up, just like a glimpse of Maria's smile always managed to get her head spinning.
"I'll try it! It will only take a second... If you don't mind waiting?" She didn't want to drag Maria shopping when they were supposed to be skating. Instead, she reached out and grabbed the suit, flashing a smile at Maria before ducking behind a row of bushes. "Just tell me if anyone's coming, alright?" What an embarrassing position to be caught in... Ea shuddered, and tried to change as fast as she could.
To distract herself from the fact that she is changing in a pretty much public space (hurry hurry hurry!) Ea keeps talking. "So, ah... Skating! Is it hard? To do, that is..." She shivers, pulling the motorcycle suit over her cold body, and surprised in how comfortable it feels, for a skintight thing. It did feel a little tight- across the shoulders, in the legs a tiny bit- but it wasn't horrible. Though she shuddered at what she must look like. Like an awkward blue popsicle, probably.
Then she realized the sipper was in the back. Blushing, she stuck her head out from around the bush. "M-Maria? Can you, ah, zip me up?"

"Of course I don't mind! Safety first, after all.", Maria said, nodding. "Don't worry! I'll let you know if I even think I see someone.", Maria said with another nod. "Although... If I'd have been thinking, I'd have had us meet somewhere more private...", she murmured, "Sorry...".
"Not really... If you can skate using roller blades, you can ice skate.", Maria answered thoughtfully. "... There is a bit of a learning curve, but it's not really difficult.", she added as a bit of an afterthought. "Don't worry! I'm sure you'll do fine!", she added, trying to be reassuring.
"S-sure!", Maria said, blushing a little. Her blush deepened when she walked around the bush and saw Ea in the riding suit. "Wow... Almost as if it was made for her...", Maria mused in amazement, stopping for a second, then remembering that Ea had asked her to zip her up. Maria quickly and gently pulled up the zipper. "There! Now, let's see if the helmet fits you!", Maria said, getting the blue helmet and handing it to Ea.

Ea laughed. Maria was too cute. "This spot is fine. You weren't the one who came to ride a motorcycle in a skirt..." She was still nervous about how the ice skating would go. She had only ever used the old school roller skates, the ones with four wheels that made her feel kind of like she was a giant with two cars strapped to her feet.
Luckily, as a klutz, she was totally used to falling down, getting back up, and keeping a wide smile on her face. It was part of her life, one that she hardly noticed anymore. And now she had the most beautiful person in the world to help her back up again.
When she saw Maria staring, she blushed deeply, turning away. *I... know I don't have the curves for it, but it's mostly for safety, right? It doesn't have to look amazing..." Though how she wished it did. She wished her body looks as perfect as Maria did, everything moving with such grace. She would be happy to get out of this as soon as possible... But first, the ride. "Thanks, Mar." She tries at a smile, and takes the helmet, slipping it over her head, where it seems to fit snugly. She flashes a thumbs up. "What now, Captain?"

"True, I suppose... But still...", Maria said, still feeling a bit guilty. Why hadn't she thought to set a more private meeting place? Maria mentally kicked herself for not having had the forethought to realise that Ea would need to change.
"No, Ea, it looks amazing on you! Sure, it is maybe half a size too small, but it looks great!", Maria said, trying to reassure Ea, but also speaking truthfully. "And, you're welcome.", Maria said, smiling.
"Captain? Oh, I didn't know we were taking a ship!", Maria joked, "Shall we ascend the gangplank, then?", she added jokingly, getting on the motorcycle, a purple Kawasaki with green tiger stripes. Maria's parents had custom-ordered it for her when she'd gotten her license.

Ea smiled, shaking her head. "You can't think of everything, Maria. Any way, no one saw me... I don't think..." She hadn't seen anyone around but Maria, and Maria had already seen more of her than that... Though that thought brought a blush to her cheeks. She would never regret that, though.
The compliment set Ea's cheeks on fire. She shook her head, dropping her gaze so she couldn't see Maria's eyes. She didn't know what she would prefer- seeing a lie in Maria's look, and knowing she didn't care how Ea looked, or seeing the truth, and being reminded yet again that Maria thought she was beautiful. Either way, she couldn't stop smiling.
Ea giggled, loving Maria's silly sense of humor. "About this, ah... gangplank. I'm afraid I've never been on one before, so... I may need some help?" She seated herself behind Maria, and wrapped her arms around the girl's waist holding on as tight as she could without hurting the girl. At least, she hoped she wasn't hurting the girl... "It's a very nice bike..."

Maria sighed. "I suppose you're right... I didn't see anyone around, so, it's all good, I guess...", she said, feeling a little better. Ea's blush, for some unknown reason, suddenly brought that 'swim' in the pond to mind. Maria smiled and blushed. That afternoon had been perhaps the best of her entire life.
Maria smiled. Seeing Ea blush at the compliment made Maria feel a lot better. Even better was the fact that she had meant every word.
"Just hold on tight, Ea! That's all you really need to do. And don't try to lean into the turns, please... It isn't necessary.", Maria said, putting on her helmet and blushing as Ea's arms wrapped around her waist. "Ya all set, Ea?", Maria asked, starting the motor and smiling inwardly at its soft purring.

She nodded again, her smile growing even wider. "Yes! Yes, it was fine! You've done wonderfully, Maria!" From the look in Maria's eyes, she would guess that Maria was thinking of the same thing as her... She shivered, and reached out to grab Maria's hand, bringing it to her lips for a quick kiss, before dropping it, embarrassed.
"Y-yeah... All set!" She closed her eyes tight, trusting Maria with all her heart not to let anything bad happen. Although she couldn't help but lean in and brush her lips against Maria's back, between her shoulderblades. Hopefully, light enough for the girl not to notice... It was rather bad timing on Ea's part, though she couldn't help it. She felt giddy, and her stomach was in knots, and she couldn't help herself. She wouldn't do this with anyone but Maria, that was for sure. "Are we going to go... fast?"
